After years of guiding kids as a school counselor, I learned from my students the power of art. Kiids LOVE art and art is a very good teacher! teaches. While school counseling, we would creating art, centered around mindfulness, encouragement, support. Walking side by side with children as they navigate the ups and downs of life, allowing them to express themselves through art, speaking, and writing, being a safe place for them to open up, and watching them blossom into emotionally intelligent human beings, is truly an honor and experience I treasure.
